The always-popular local musical duo of Sonny and Perley return for a Stedman Room concert performing “Brazilian Romance: The Bossa Nova Phenomenon.”

From Sonny and Perley’s website: “The world discovered Bossa Nova in 1963 with the huge success of master composer Antonio Carlos Jobim’s Girl from Ipanema. American Jazz and popular music were both inspired with this ‘new wave.’

Making Open Adoption Work: The Birth Parent Perspective

Adoptive Families of the Capital Region presents a panel discussion with birth parents, moderated by a licensed social worker, on the topic of openness in adoption.

High School Equivalency (HSE) Exam Class

In partnership with Capital Region Boces, the library has started a free class to help individuals study for the TASC (Test Accetascssing Secondary Completion) exam.

The schedule is Monday and Wednesday evening, 5:00-8:00 PM.
