The Teen Room is open to teens ages 13 and older. Anyone is welcome to visit the teen room to pick up materials, but the computers and seating is reserved especially for teens or those accompanied by teens.
The library Teen Room opened in October, 2003. It is a place where teens can come to find books, videotapes, music and magazines geared for their age group. We offer all the latest fiction titles, plenty of informative non-fiction on the topics teens are most interested in as well as a nice collection of manga, graphic novels and comics. We also have a nice collection of anime as well as other popular movies.
The room offers comfortable seating, computer stations, games, a poetry corner, and is a great place to meet up with friends either to study, or just to relax.
Just outside the Teen Room is an art gallery with monthly shows of student art. Any high school student interested in displaying his or her work is welcome to contact us about setting up a show.
We hope you’ll stop by and spend some time with us!
