Recorded books: We are proud to offer many options for children to enjoy reading. We have picture books with CD included, early and advanced chapter books on CD, for both fiction and non-fiction reading. We also offer MP3 players which are preloaded and use one AAA battery. You supply your own headphones. These MP3 players range from picture books to advanced chapter books. All these items circulate for three weeks.

eBooks:  eBooks for children may be downloaded to your phone, e-reader, or computer if you have the Overdrive app.  This app is free and directions on how to use it are here.

Computers: While visiting us here at the library, your child may use one of our iPads to play preloaded educational games, or they may use our computer that is dedicated for internet use. This computer is equipped with a printer (with a fee of $.10/page for black and white,  or $.50/page for color).

In order to use the computers in our library, any child under the age of 18 must have parental permission. This can be given by the parent/guardian completing a permission form at the Circulation Desk.

DVDs: The library has a wide selection of DVDs for children of all ages. DVDs circulate for 7 days, with a fine of $1.00/day if returned past the due date. Six DVDs may be checked out per account.

Launchpads: Youth Services is very excited to offer durable, kid-friendly tablets to check out and take home! Launchpads are pre-loaded with educational apps (ad free) and each has a specific theme and recommended age range. Each device comes with a charger, no batteries are required.  Launchpads are also available for Teens and Adults to brush on on math skills, learn a new language, or have fun with trivia.  Launchpads circulate for 7 days.
