Winners of the Battle of the Bands 2016

Congratulations to Royal Flush for winning the Battle of the Bands!  They were awarded the grand prize of $500, donated by The Friends of the Library.

Second place went to 2319 who was awarded a $150 gift certificate to Hilton Music Center.

Special thanks to our judges, Scott Jarzombek and Sam Piazza; to the many teen volunteers who helped make the night a success; to Genoa Importing,  The Friends of the Library, and Hilton Music Center for their generous donations. We had a full audience and five additional bands  — The Fast Lane, The Road Runners, Everything Bagel, Yellow Haze, and No. 2.  See our Facebook page for additional photos!

Miniature Golf at the Library?!

Yes!  On Saturday, May 14 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, there will be an 18 hole miniature golf course set up inside and outside the library.  TICKETS are available for purchase at the library, online, and also on the day of the event.  The cost is $5.00/person.

At night, Glow Golf will be available for tweens and teens, grades 6 and above. From 7:00 – 9:00 PM, the kids will be able to play 18 holes of miniature golf through the entire library while a DJ is playing their favorite tunes!  TICKETS are available to purchase at the Youth Services desk: $4/person or $12/group of 4.

This will be great fun for all ages!

This event is to celebrate our 40th Anniversary.

All proceeds will directly benefit the library.
