Community Conversation Update

40thCelebrating our 40th year here at the library has been a wonderful opportunity for us to reflect and get in touch with YOU! We are pleased to report that our community conversations and online survey garnered over 500 responses. As we engaged with you, a few common themes emerged. We heard that you find our staff and collections to be top notch, for example, and that you love your library in its current location, but believe the building needs some TLC. You also shared that you would like to see us partnering with even more community organizations and building awareness of our services.

Your feedback was the very first step in an exciting process of renewal here at the library. Now that you’ve spoken, keep the momentum going by getting involved! From restoring our much loved, centrally located building, to carving out new meeting spaces, enhancing technology access, and boosting communication and outreach, we’ve got challenging and exciting plans in the works – and your unique talents and contributions will be essential to our success. Join the Friends of the Library online today to help us create a stronger, brighter, more welcoming and accessible library for all!
